Accessibility Statement

Last updated: July 02, 2026

Sticky Brain Studio is committed to making stickybrainstudio.org and our resources accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is an ongoing process, and we welcome feedback that helps us improve.

Our commitment

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

What we are doing

Steps we take to keep the site accessible include:

  • Using semantic HTML markup so screen readers can navigate meaningful structure
  • Ensuring interactive elements are keyboard accessible
  • Providing sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds
  • Writing alternative text for meaningful images
  • Designing responsive layouts that work across devices and text sizes
  • Using clear, plain language wherever possible, especially in our client-facing materials
  • Testing new pages with keyboard-only navigation and screen readers before publishing

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, there may be areas of the site or specific resources that are not fully accessible. Known limitations include:

  • Some downloadable PDF workbooks may not be fully screen-reader optimized, particularly those with heavy illustration content. We are working through the library to improve PDF accessibility as we release new editions.
  • Embedded third-party content (such as YouTube videos or Podia storefront elements) is governed by the accessibility features of those platforms.
  • Some interactive tools may have limited accessibility for users relying on assistive technology. We are actively improving these.

If you encounter a barrier that keeps you from accessing content, please tell us. We will work to provide the information in a format that works for you.

Neurodiversity and accessibility

Sticky Brain Studio is a neurodiversity-affirming platform. Accessibility for us means more than technical compliance. It also means:

  • Writing in language that is clear, warm, and non-jargon whenever possible
  • Using visual design that supports readability without overstimulation
  • Offering multiple entry points to the same content (video, workbook, quiz, handout) so people can meet the material in the format that works for their brain
  • Structuring our resource library so people can find what they need without navigating unnecessary complexity

Assistive technology

The website is designed to be compatible with recent versions of major screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, and browser zoom features. If you use assistive technology and encounter difficulty, please contact us. Your feedback helps us prioritize improvements.

Feedback and requests

If you would like to report an accessibility issue, request an alternative format of any resource, or share feedback about how we can improve, please contact us. We aim to respond to accessibility requests within 5 business days.
